Abstract

The webinar “Evaluation of Alternative Drying Technologies to Vial Lyophilization” will cover the maturity state of various drying technologies, including foam drying, spray freeze-drying, and spin freeze-drying. The presentation will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of foam drying, such as improved storage stability of pharmaceutical products at increased temperatures, faster drying cycles, and better preservation of biologic activity. It will also compare conventional vial freeze-drying with spray freeze-drying in terms of freezing time, drying time, reconstitution time, accuracy of fill, aseptic nature, flexibility in dose, and potential benefits.
