Millrock Technology Partners with LyoWave to Integrate Purdue Freeze-Drying Innovations

Kingston, NY, May 7, 2024 – Millrock Technology, a leading provider of advanced freeze-drying solutions, is proud to announce a strategic collaboration with LyoWave, a high-tech startup commercializing innovative microwave heating technologies developed at Purdue University. This partnership comes on the heels of LyoWave licensing the intellectual property through the Purdue Innovates Office of Technology Commercialization.

Millrock Technology will offer LyoWave’s system for already installed and new freeze dryers, starting with the popular REVO® Research and Development Freeze Dryer. The LyoWave system implements microwave heating for current freeze dryers, which allows users to increase their throughput with minimal changes to existing installations.

Millrock CEO and President, Martial Pabon, said LyoWave’s technology has the potential to deliver high value for the industry by both improving product consistency and reducing drying times.
