Abstract: This webinar will discuss unique events that occur during the freezing process, within a freeze dryer. Understanding the cause and effect of heat-flow is key to more efficient sublimation and better product quality. Seemingly random events during the freezing process are given more order as heat flow is understood at the vial level. Employing controlled nucleation forces the vials to nucleate at the same time and temperature which results in very uniform structure throughout the batch.
