T.N. Thompson, Jr.

Mr. T.N. Thompson is the past President of FTS Systems, where he spent 18 years. He is a 3rd generation Freeze-Dryer Manufacturer.

Mr. Thompson has over 22 years in leadership roles. He has successfully grown companies and turned companies around. Mr. Thompson has experience in markets such as Pharmaceutical/Biotech, Life Science, Mobile Commerce and Cashless Payment, Semiconductor (front and back-end), and Food Processing Equipment.

He received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder and attended the Senior Executive Program on Global Strategic Development at Columbia University.

He has published many articles and holds two patents in the area of thermal control and has one patent pending for cashless payment systems.

Taylor Thompson, Sr.

Mr. Taylor Thompson was the Founder/President of FTS Systems Inc. of Stone Ridge, an international scientific equipment manufacturer. He sold the company in 1996 and partially retired in 1998. Prior to establishing his own company he was Executive Vice President of The VirTis Company Inc. of Gardiner, New York.

Mr. Thompson was educated at Columbia University. He received a Bachelor of Arts from the College in 1956, a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1957, and a Masters in Business in 1970.

He is considered an expert in the area of Freeze-Drying and has lectured on the subject throughout the world. He holds six US patents, mainly on the automation of the freeze-drying process.

Marc Thompson    

Mr. Marc Thompson has 27 years of experience designing and building freeze drying equipment. He has been a design engineer with several freeze-drying companies, including VirTis, FTS Systems, and Lyophilization Systems Inc and has independently built systems for resale by other freeze drying companies. He has designed and supervised the manufacturing and testing of Freeze-dryers from Table Top Manifold systems to large Industrial Freeze-Dryers with CIP, SIP, IQ/OQ, and with full PC/PLC controls that meet the stringent requirements for GMP and 21CFR Part11.
